Your walls are looking so beautiful!

And for color, don't limit yourself to one. Think in terms of candy stripes or polka dots! :)

WOW - It's so gorgeous! I wish I was closer so I could come help out and learn how to do cordwood. Seeing how your house is coming together, I'm definitely moving cordwood to the top of my list for when I build my house. I love how sculptural is it, and how much room there is for expression. It seems like a good reminder of the sacredness in everyday things.

Yellow with white trim is really pretty - it's my favorite combo - just test some yellows first, as it can be tough to find the right hue. Often what looks soft on a small card looks screaming yellow on a whole house. When we painted my childhood home yellow we had to test a few big patches until we found just the right one...and then, wow, the house looked amazing.

Everything's looking great! The shelves are wonderful ideas. And something just outside the door will be terrific. A nice spot for something seasonal, or for Kaia to place a special treasure.

i like the shelf ideas. especially outside the door...i am forever carrying more than i can hold while unlocking the door so it would be very useful for me to set things on.

the sun design is a lovely touch!
